Yoga

I felt so out of shape and its been so cold so I havent been walking as much, which I usually do alot of, so I decided to take yoga classes. I have wanted to start yoga for a long time for so many reasons. I have had back pain all my life, since I was a kid. It has gotten some what better since ive gotten older. Also I have had stomach problems. Also to relieve stress, find inner peace. Many reasons.

I am taking classes at http://www.theyogasanctuary.net/ . Its the picture above, on the third floor. Its just up the street from me so its perfect. They have different classes all day long. They offer many different types of yoga. Im taking Astanga, and Astanga Flow. Descriptions from their website are:

Ashtanga Yoga – A yoga practice developed by Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. It is a dynamic and vigorous (faster pace) form of yoga that builds heat in the body. This set series of postures maximizes strength, concentration and flexibility with focused breath awareness.

Ashtanga Flow/Hatha Flow – While using both the poses and the pace of regular Ashtanga or Hatha classes, these classes sequence those poses differently and aim to keep the body moving with breath. Open to all levels.

I love it so much. It give me so much energy. I feel so good after im finished. You work so hard and then at the end of each session. They get you to lie down and the cover you in a blanket and turn out the lights and play some music.

I never knew how out of shape I was. The next couple of days after the class my muscles are so sore, muscles I didnt even know i had. I only take it once a week, because it is quite expensive, eventually I should start doing it at home so that I dont have to spend the money but its so much more enjoyable with other people.

Yoga is so good for you, I've never tried it. I have done pilates though and that's awesome too.
