I love Unicorns.

Unicorns are well known as the protectors of the forest. They are seen as a symbol for purity.

I drew a picture for Illustration Friday, but I dont have any way to upload it. So this is what I did in Paint this morning. I know its cheese. I will post my drawing when I get my camera back.

All fights All the Time

Well how much fighting can one person handle. I am a big fan of wrestling. Since the death of Eddie though, ive lost a little interest because he was my favorite. But starting last week we starting getting the fight channel for free, its a preview for a couple of months. Then two nights ago my Roomate ordered the WWE channel. OMG, boxing, kick boxing, ultimate fighter, K-1, this stuff is hard core, Live action Wrestling. So its fighting all the time except for American Idols, I insist they take a break and watch American Idol.

Then this weekend, is my roomates birthday, and theres the paid perview Royal Rumble, so ofcourse hes having a Royal Rumble party. I got to get out of the apartment for the weekend I think. I might go to Brampton again, I left my camera there a couple of weeks ago so I have to pick that up, I cant post my Illustration Friday without it.

Also just like to say that I am very glad I voted. Jack Layton won in my area. Id like to think that my vote help make that happen.

Music Selection

I never thought it would happen but Im actually liking some heavier music these days. I love sitting on the subway in the evening listen to my psp really loud while everyone else is so quiet. My choice in music is Soilwork, Slipknot, Staind, and Atmosphere. ITs great.

I definitely need to purchase a bigger memory stick though because I dont like to listen to that music in the morning. I need something a little more relaxing for the mornings, like Billie Holiday and Nina Simon.

I went to Brampton for the night onthe weekend. My friend, whom I havent seen in a few months called me and said he wanted me to come out. So he drove to Toronto to pick me up. He got lost 3 times, finally found the place.

I had such a good time, two of my friends live together, their cousins. We drank wine all night and talked, listened to music, people dropped by to visit. Friends that I hadnt seen or even spoke to in a while. It made me feel lonely.

It even made me miss Brampton, believe it or not, not enough to move back though, never.

Im still saving to move out of the place I live in now, but its hard. I have to pay rent and bills and my student loan, after that I dont have much left. I really want my own place so I can invite my friends to come to Toronto for a weekend. I dotn feel comfortable doing that where I live now.

Recycling

One thing I dont like is I work for a company that does not recycle paper. And I dont understand why. Its an office building, we go through a ton of paper and it all gets throw in the garbage along with everything else. Ive asked a few of my co-workers and they just say I dont know why we never did. I think I should go to my boss about this. It really bothers me.

Back from the HOlidays

Well im back to the city. Back to work, this is my first day in over 2 weeks getting up before 10, aweful hey. My trip to pei and nfld was so great, but it went by so fast. PEI was great, I was only there for 2 days. Visited a few people, spent most of the time with Ryan. He has growed so much and hes so smart. He only 21 months old and he can talk so well.

All my family drove to the boat together, Lee, Janis and Ryan in one car. Cody and Troy in another car. And me and my parents in the truck. Lots of time to check up. Charmene, my best friend during high school met us on the boat, so we had a few drinks and caught up. We spent alot of time together while we were home.

Arrived in Corner Brook, visited my 2 aunts, my uncle and my nan. Then I had to say goodbye to Troy for a few days, because his parents live in Corner Brook, well just outside in Irishtown. Cody and I dropped in there for a little visit because we had to get back on the road.

I took so many pictures of all the senery on the drive. The park really is the most beautiful spot in the world.

Got to Rocky Harbour, visited some cousins, and aunt and uncle. Then went to my nans, in Norris Point, where we were staying. I was so happy to finally get there, to finally see my grandfather. We talked to hours.

Next day was Christmas day, lots of great food and more family visiting. My uncle Keith and his two kids, Tommy and Sheena. My uncle Gerald and his three daughters. So many other people. I received some many great gifts, Troy gave me a PSP. I couldnt believe it when I opened it. I couldnt ask for any thing better and I had no idea he had it.

That night I went to my aunts house with my mom and dad and brother and Charmene came too. Visted with my aunt Michelle and Uncle Barry and Savannah and Samantha. Michelle is one of my most favortie aunts. I missed her alot. We drank White Russians all night and ate more food, scallops wrapped in bacon and moose sauages, yum.

The next night, was a dance at the bar,ofcourse me and Char went together, I went to her house first, visited with her family and her brother, Craig. At the bar there was lots of people from high school and old friends and more drinking. I loved seeing them all and catching up and finding out how good everyone is doing.That night we got a major snow storm, it was crazy. We were stranded in Rocky Harbour for the night, thankfully a Sherry Payne, the lady that owes the bar let us all stay at her house, so about 20 of us all walked to her house in a bizzard, great fun.

Didnt get much sleep that night, came home at 10:30, had to get ready because Troy was coming down to stay for a few days. Troy arrived at 2 and by this time I was getting tired. So he let me have a rest while he visted with my family. When I got up after sleeping for 2 hours Troy was talking with my grandfather, they had talked for 2 hours.

That night I took Troy to visit some of his family because his mom is from Norris Point, but Troy had not been there in 24 years. He is first cousins with Char, my best friend. He visited went his nan, that was so nice. He misses her alot, she used to live with him while he grew up in Brampton.

Next day, all of Charmenes family,her sister Lori and her husband Thomas and their two kids, her brother Craig and his girlfriend and his son, I cant believe he has a baby, her mom and Troys Nan and me and troy all went to Irishtown to stay with Troys family for a while. All of Troys family just moved to NFLD in the past year, his sister Tenelle and her husband Wade and their sweet little girl Shenoah, his other sister Tanya and her 4 daughter, Faith, Anita, Taylor, and Kiya, and his mom and Dad. WE did some shopping in Corner Brook, watched movies, played games, drank, ate, it was great.

Then it was back to Norris Point for one last night. Finally I get to see Ryan again. I spent the day playing with him. Then all my family jst sat around, my brothers, lee and cody, Janis, Troy, my mom and day, my uncle Bob and my nan and pop. We watched some fireworks. My grandfather gave me some gifts, crafts that he makes, he gave me a little set of snowshoes, tiny lobster traps, and a boat. I will charish these gifts forever.

Th next day Troy got ready to leave, he was suppose to leave that day but he found a ride back with someone so he took it. He had to drop in Corner Brook and pick up his stuff and head back.

I said goodbye to everyone, one last vist with Charmene. My grandfather took off because he doesnt like goodbyes.

It was a great trip. I got back at 12:30 at night, watched a movie with my roomates, slept until 1 the next day. The next day I cleaned, changed my room around and played some video games with Robin. We played Lego Star Wars, very fun game.

Ok thats the most typing ive done in a long time. I have to get back to work.
